 ProcessProcessProcess Toughened glass is smashed inside an old bed sheet and heaped into the shape desired on a kiln-washed base. Alternately, the glass can be molded, crushed or textured into useful or esthetic items, such as sculptures and water features. Also used in her studio are the ‘classic’ techniques of glass slumping and glass fusing Alternately, glass may be hand-cut into any shape desired and melted into a variety of moulds available in the studio. This is quick, easy and relaxing to do. After the firing process glass is transformed into something both spectacular and unique.         |
